Article Summary

The Container Image scan determines what, if any, Docker images are used in your project. Ion Channel will use this information to determine if any vulnerabilities exist for this image.

If a container image is detected, the name of the image, "Detected," or the number of detected container images will be displayed on the tile. Selecting the tile will provide additional details.

Image Detection

Ion Channel will detect any image designated in a Dockerfile in the root directory with the fromand/or run commands.

Governance:

No rule governs the Container Images scan results, but the results feed into the vulnerability scans.

Tile Statuses:

Not Evaluated: The project has been analyzed, and container image results have been obtained.
